The main purpose of this role is to support the Recruitment team in delivering an effective and efficient end to end recruitment service. A successful administrator will be a self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the team.


Full time - 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - £21,000 per year (subject to experience)


Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing effective and efficient recruitment administration to support the smooth running of the recruitment department
  • To learn and develop in the work environment through instruction and training.
  • To continuously contribute to the progression and development of the Recruitment department and the Recruitment Team through the provision of a high-quality service
  • To provide general and effective administrative support to the Recruitment Team.
  • To answer routine queries arising from staff regarding recruitment issues.
  • Effective correspondence with applicants
  • To support at careers fairs and recruitment events.
  • Answering the telephone and accurately passing on messages,
  • Dealing with requests and queries in an efficient and polite manner

Criteria / Person Specification

  • Excellent IT skills, including a proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and have the ability to understand new systems quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Be keen to learn new skills and develop within the role
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment, however this is not essential
  • Proof of COVID19 vaccinations.
