We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to lead our new Home Care Services in the North West of England (Greater Manchester & Cheshire area).


The Role

We are looking for a commercial and compassionate care manager to develop, lead and grow our Home Care Service. You will also have responsibility for:

  • Building your customer base to achieve the weekly hours and revenue budgeted by management.
  • Recruiting, training and developing a highly professional and compassionate care team to deliver a high standard of care.
  • Ensuring their business is fully compliant and follows all the CQC standards and requirements.
  • Person centred care plans and their clients safety, liaising with health care professionals to ensure best possible care is delivered.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and files
  • Attending management meetings, liaising with senior management and directors and returning KPI’s as required
  • Participating in the branch on call rota 

Criteria / Person Specification

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • Previous management experience within a domiciliary care setting
  • Excellent business acumen with a strong desire to develop and grow the service
  • Confidence in business development and able to communicate with local sources.
  • A good knowledge of working with electronic rostering systems
  • Experience of working with Local Commissioning/ Clinical Commissioning Groups and Care Management teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Level 5 Diploma QCF or equivalent qualification or willing to work towards
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Good organisation skills
  • Full driving license with use of own vehicle
