We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Home Manager for Spring Lodge Residential Home, in Woolverstone, Suffolk. 


Spring Lodge is a beautiful home offering bespoke,specialist care. Beautifully positioned in the coastal village of Woolverstone, Suffolk, Spring Lodge is a stone’s throw away from the River Orwell and is very much a part of the village community. Our well-qualified, experienced and diverse staff group deliver complex, specialist residential and dementia care for up to 46 residents in this ‘Butterfly status’ previously award-winning home.


In order to be considered for this exciting role as Deputy Home Manager, you will have the following skills & experience:
> alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
> you will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence

The successful candidate will support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.

Criteria / Person Specification

Skills/Qualifications:

  • The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • At least 2 years of deputy manager experience
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/ agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
