We are currently recruiting for a Cook/Kitchen Assistant for Kirkley Manor Nursing Home based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
You will have excellent levels of hygiene and must ensure that the homes high standard is maintained and residents are treated in the way you would expect to be treated yourself.
You will be responsible for preparing good quality, satisfying meals to meet the dietary needs of the residents within the home.
You will liaise with the home manager to ensure menu's
are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
You will be responsible for the ordering of food stock, whilst ensuring costs are kept within budget.
The successful candidate will need to complete a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, if they do not already have one.
The position is offering BANK shifts (as per the homes needs) at a pay rate up to £9.00 per hour (subject to experience)
